Wrangell Fish and Game Advisory Committee Meeting Notice
The Wrangell Fish and Game will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, December 17 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Nolan Center at 296 Campbell Drive, Wrangell and via Zoom web/teleconference.
Agenda items include the following:
- Board of Fisheries Southeast Proposals, specifically:
- Sitka Herring (Proposals 171-182)
- Herring Spawn on Kelp (Proposals 183-187)
- All Commercial Herring(Proposals 188-190)
- General Groundfish (Proposals 191-193)
- Sablefish (Proposals 194-198)
- Lingcod (Proposals 199-203)
- Pacific Cod (Proposals 204 and 205)
- Rockfish (Proposals 206-211)
- Discussion of other fish and wildlife topics if needed.
The meeting is open to the public. Public testimony, will occur prior to the above mentioned agenda topics. Testimony will be limited to three minutes for each speaker.

Advisory Committees are intended to provide a local forum on fish and wildlife issues. Their purpose includes: 1) developing regulatory proposals, 2) evaluating regulatory proposals and making recommendations to the appropriate board, 3) providing a local forum for fish and wildlife conservation and use, including matters relating to habitat, 4) advising the appropriate regional council on resources, and 5) consulting with individuals, organizations, and agencies.
