Bethel Youth Facility – Dedicated Sewer Connection

Bidders are invited to submit sealed bids, in single copy, to: Submit a bid to provide all labor, supervision, permits, equipment and materials to provide a dedicated “arctic pipe” sewer connection from the Bethel Youth Facility to the “Public Utilities” pressurized sewer system. To include disconnecting and removing in its entirety the existing installed sewer piping from the BYF lift station to the adjacent jail building currently facilitating the sewer disposal stream into the “public Utilities Sewer”.
A Pre-bid walk through is scheduled for TUESDAY MAY 14th , 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the Bethel Youth Facility. (Morning jet into Bethel arrives 11:45 am and departs 5:16 pm) Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. All Bids, bid modifications, or withdrawals transmitted by mail, email or hand delivered, must be received prior to the scheduled time of bid opening. *SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS*
The Department will accept an electronic (email) submission of bids for this solicitation. Bids, bid modifications and withdrawals should be submitted to fcs.facilities@alaska.gov prior to the date and time shown above. Offerors are responsible to assure timely delivery, and receipt of their bids. Offerors are cautioned that due to mailbox restrictions, we cannot receive bids over 20MB in size. The Contracting Agency will print out bids for public opening at the time designated above.
The Engineer’s Estimate: $500,000 to $700,000
The Project completion date: 360 Days after NTP
Plans and Specifications may be printed by the Bidder from:

OR
- the Bidder may forward the project website location/address information to the print shop of their choice for printing – all associated printing costs are payable by the Bidder
Bidders are responsible for checking this website for addenda.
Not acknowledging addenda at the time of bid will deem the Bidder non-responsive.
