NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25242049 – Fairbanks Regional Office Building Heating System Repair

The Contractor shall provide professional design services to support the restoration of permanent heating service to the building. The general scope of work includes replacement and/or repair of any HVAC systems needing to restore heating service as determined necessary. Architectural and engineering services include, but not limited to investigations and evaluations, mechanical, civil, electrical, architectural, structural, design, cost estimating, environmental services, bidding support, and construction administration assistance. The Contracting Agency is utilizing a shortened advertising period due to the urgency of this procurement.

A site visit is planned for April 16, 2024 at 12:30pm.  Meet at the facility.  Please advise your planned attendance in advance by email to Christopher.hodgin@alaska.gov, or cell phone (907) 575-2287.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately May 2024 to May 2025.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of less than $200,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available April 12, 2024 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than April 24, 2024, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.

Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the TTD number: (907) 269-0473, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.
