Notice of Pipeline Application
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that on March 27, 2024, ExxonMobil Pipeline Company (ExxonMobil) filed an application seeking approval to transfer Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) No. 304 to ExxonMobil Pipeline Company, LLC. Docket No. P-24-005 was opened to address this matter.
ExxonMobil is authorized under CPCN 304 to own and operate a portion of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline System. ExxonMobil states that the purpose of the application is to approve the conversion of ExxonMobil from a Delaware corporation to a Delaware limited liability company to achieve tax savings and administrative efficiencies. ExxonMobil also states that the conversion of the company will not affect any issues related to Commission regulation or provision of service to customers.
In conjunction with its application, ExxonMobil requests waiver of the requirement to file audited financial statements for the two most recent fiscal years. ExxonMobil was previously granted a waiver of this requirement in Order No. P-12-019(1). Interested persons may file a response to the waiver request with the Commission by 5 p.m. April 24, 2024.
The Commission has not assessed the completeness of the application. The Commission may determine whether the application is complete after the close of the comment period.
