On February 23, 2024, the Board of Dental Examiners adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 28 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern updates dealing with repealing regulations relating to dental radiological equipment to implement statutory changes to AS 08.36 under Chapter 56, SLA 2022 (SB 173).

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor on March 13, 2024, and are effective on April 12, 2024. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The regulation changes will first appear in Register 250, July 2024 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
