Notice of Utility Tariff Filings
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach) filed TA428-121 and TA550-8, seeking to increase its Gas Transfer Price (GTP) from $5.49 per Mcf to $6.46 per Mcf. The GTP is the price that Chugach charges itself for gas from the Beluga River Unit (BRU) and is recovered through Chugach’s cost of power adjustment (COPA) surcharge mechanism. Chugach proposes the new BRU GTP will be recovered through the COPA surcharge that will be effective April 1, 2024.
This notice does not contain all requested revisions and the Commission may approve a rate or classification which varies from those proposed.
