GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located in Western Alaska, east of King Salmon, on the Naknek River.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: NW1/4 of SW1/4 of Section 30, Township 17 South, Range 43 West, Seward Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY:

The applicant, Steven Benjamin DBA Katmai Expeditions LLC, is requesting seasonal (June-September), daily overnight storage of a 30-foot vessel, to be anchored with 3 anchors and lines, below the ordinary high water mark in the Naknek River.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: June 1, 2024
End: May 31, 2029

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: February 19, 2024

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above.
