The Alaska Department of Education and Early Development (DEED) invites you to submit questions and comments on the draft Alaska Computer Science State Plan.

The Alaska Computer Science (CS) State Plan looks at the current state landscape of CS education, identifies the strategic areas of focus, sets realistic, challenging, and measurable goals to expand CS education to all the students in the state. This state plan is intended to be a working document and designed to respond to changes in the best practice in national K-12 CS education as well as the specific needs of Alaska students.

To submit questions or provide written comments on the Alaska Computer Science State Plan, please email Faye Tanner at faye.tanner@alaska.gov. Comments may also be submitted through the Alaska Online Public Notice System by accessing this notice on the system and using the comment link. Comments will be accepted from Friday, March 31, 2023 through Monday, May 1, 2023 at 5:00 PM.
