NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP No. 25232049 – Traffic Data Collection Services 2023 

The Contractor shall provide all necessary consumable materials and labor to perform traffic data collection using electronic data recorders at locations as specified by the Traffic Data Collection Manager. These services will be required for: Municipality of Anchorage, Matanuska-Susitna Borough, Kenai Peninsula Borough, Juneau, Wrangell, Ketchikan, Prince of Wales Island, Petersburg, Sitka, Yakutat, Skagway, Haines, Gustavus, Hoonah, Dutch Harbor, Bethel, Dillingham, Kodiak and Seldovia. The Contractor shall monitor the electronic data recorders for proper functioning, collect data from collection locations, and transfer data in a specified electronic file format for use by the Traffic Data Collection Manager.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated initial period for performance of the Agreement is approximately May 2023 to May 2024.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000 . The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available December 30, 2022 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK. Persons residing outside the Municipality may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than January 31, 2023, prior to 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
