The Nushagak Fish and Game Advisory Committee will be holding a public meeting in the Dillingham City Council Chambers on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 9:00am.

Agenda items will include the following:
- Elections for one undesignated seat
- Elections for alternates
- Elections for officers
- Board of Game Reauthorization Proposals 177, and 187
- Board of Fisheries Bristol Bay Finfish Proposals
- Other miscellaneous business
Individuals wishing to be considered for election to the one undesignated seat and two alternate seats should be prepared to speak about their knowledge of and experience with the fish and wildlife resources in the area served by the committee and be prepared to participate in committee discussions as members begin to serve immediately following the election.
The Chairman has asked that members review the Bristol Bay Finfish proposals prior to the meeting and be prepared to discuss those of interest and offer amended language if needed. In an effort to be efficient with the time available, anyone wishing to make a motion to amend a proposal should come prepared with draft language, or an outline of the desired change for review.

Advisory committees are local groups that meet to discuss fishing and wildlife issues and to provide recommendations to Alaska Board of Fisheries and Alaska Board of Game. All meetings are open to the public. Advisory Committees are intended to provide a local forum on fish and wildlife issues. Their purpose includes: 1) developing regulatory proposals, 2) evaluating regulatory proposals and making recommendations to the appropriate board, 3) providing a local forum for fish and wildlife conservation and use, including matters relating to habitat, and 4) cooperating and consulting with interested persons and organizations, including government agencies, and encouraging youth and elder involvement in committee activities.
