Richardson Highway MP 357-362 Bicycle/Pedestrian Path Project

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) is soliciting comments on the proposed Richardson Highway MP 357-362 Bicycle/Pedestrian Path project. The project will construct a paved bicycle/pedestrian path along the Richardson Highway between MP 357-362, connecting a signalized crosswalk at the Old Richardson Highway/Badger Road intersection with an existing pathway near the Richardson Highway/Airport Way/Gaffney Road intersection. Additional work will include a pedestrian bridge, drainage improvements, slope work, utility relocations, signage and delineators, and installation of barriers or guardrails.

The project construction is scheduled for Summer 2023

This proposed project complies with the following Executive Orders (EO):

EO 13112, Invasive Species
