REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Sealed proposals for Ketchikan Pioneer Home Structural Upgrades, Project Number 2501000083, will be received before 4:00 p.m., August 11, 2022 in the office of the Chief of Contracts, at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This state funded project will provide structural upgrades to the Ketchikan Pioneer Home.  Work includes demolition, HAZMAT remediation, seismic upgrades, and new installation of the exterior wall system.  The work also includes three (3) enhancements options. 

The Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000 for the Basic Bid. The Project substantial completion date will be August 18, 2023.

A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. for the Ketchikan Pioneer Home.  Those interested need contact Alyson Wardell at Alyson.wardell@alaska.gov or 907-269-0869 a minimum of 48 hours prior the meeting to register for the site visit.  Meet the Project Manager in the main entry on the lower level.  Parking is available in the parking lot and on Bryant Street alongside of the building.  In an effort to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, attendees shall bring and wear face mask coverings and maintain social distancing.
