NOTICE OF UTILITY APPLICATION
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA gives notice that on May 25, 2022, Mission Hills, LLC (MH), filed an application for an initial finding of public convenience and necessity for new public water or sewer systems. Docket No. U-22-027 was opened to address this matter.
MH intends to construct a water system to provide utility service to Spruce Terraces Subdivision (STS). STS is located in Anchorage, southeast of Rabbit Creek Rd. and Golden View Dr. MH states that there are 27 lots in this area that will receive service. MH also states it has submitted the proposed system to the Department of Environmental Conservation for approval to construct.
A person who proposes to file an application to furnish the same, or substantially the same, service or facility to essentially the same service area or route, in whole or in part, thus creating the potential for mutually exclusive applications must file a notice of intent to file a competing application by July 20, 2022. The person must then file the competing application by September 13, 2022. If no notice of intent to file a competing application is filed by July 20, 2022, the Commission will proceed to grant or deny the application.
No motions for waiver or petitions for confidentiality were filed with the application. The Commission has not assessed the completeness of the application. The Commission may determine whether the application is complete by June 22, 2022.
