INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Chefornak Airport Rehabilitation, Project Number AIP 3-02-0442-003-2021/CFAPT00501, will be received before 2:00 p.m., May 18, 2022 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will resurface the gravel runway, taxiway, access road, and apron (including safety areas). Improvements include airfield lighting, markings, drainage, dust palliative, and visual NAVAIDS.

The Engineer's Estimate is $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. The Project completion date will be October 15, 2023.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings. Bidding documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.
