The Icy Straits Fish and Game Advisory Committee will be holding a public meeting via teleconference and in-person at Hoonah City Hall on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 health emergency this meeting will happen telephonically.
The agenda will include the following items:
- Discuss Board of Fisheries Proposals:

| 157 | Modify harvest rate for Sitka Sound commercial sac roe herring fishery based on forecasted age structure |
| 158 | Incorporate forecasted age structure into Sitka Sound commercial sac roe herring fishery spawning biomass threshold |
| 159 | Repeal this regulation related to management of the commercial sac roe herring fishery in Sitka Sound |
| 160 | Reduce closed waters in the Sitka Sound commercial sac roe herring fishery |
| 161 | Require a subsistence fishing permit to harvest herring roe on branches in the Sitka Sound area |

All meetings are open to the public.
Advisory Committees are intended to provide a local forum on fish and wildlife issues. Their purpose includes: 1) developing regulatory proposals, 2) evaluating regulatory proposals and making recommendations to the appropriate board, 3) providing a local forum for fish and wildlife conservation and use, including matters relating to habitat, 4) advising the appropriate regional council on resources, and 5) consulting with individuals, organizations, and agencies.
