The Department of Education and Early Development (DEED) is seeking public comment on a proposed update to its Site Selection Criteria and Evaluation Handbook, which is cited in regulation 4 AAC 31.020(a)(8) and establishes department criteria to apply to AS 14.11.013(d) and AS 14.11.100(h).  This new draft edition is a minor update to the publication, which was last updated in 2011. Key revisions/additions to the publication include:

• Updates to traffic and access criteria;
• Updated graphics.

The 2011 edition is available online (pdf) with the Site Evaluation Matrix tool (excel).
