The Klawock Fish and Game Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting on Thursday, March 11th (rescheduled from Wednesday, February 24 2021) at 6:00pm. This meeting will be in person at the Vo Tech center as well as available online and by phone. 
 

• In-person participants must wear a mask.
• The meeting room must be set up for participants to maintain 6 feet social distance. If attendance exceeds the ability to maintain the distance, other meeting attendees must leave and use the teleconference system.
• Individuals exhibiting signs of COVID-19 will not be permitted to join in-person.
• Those in attendance must sign-up with contact information in the event a participant later tests positive for COVID.
• If a participant refuses to meet these conditions, the chair will ask them to leave the premise. If they refuse further, the chair will adjourn the meeting.

Advisory committees are local groups that meet to discuss fishing and wildlife issues and to provide recommendations to Alaska Board of Fisheries and Alaska Board of Game. All meetings are open to the public. Advisory Committees are intended to provide a local forum on fish and wildlife issues. Their purpose includes: 1) developing regulatory proposals, 2) evaluating regulatory proposals and making recommendations to the appropriate board, 3) providing a local forum for fish and wildlife conservation and use, including matters relating to habitat, 4) advising the appropriate regional council on resources, and 5) consulting with individuals, organizations, and agencies.
