Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Cook Inlet Natural Gas Storage Alaska, LLC (CINGSA) filed TA40-733, proposing to revise its Firm Storage Service (FSS) Agreement with Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach). The FSS Agreement is a Special Contract in accordance with 3 AAC 48.390. CINGSA has requested an effective date of January 1, 2021, for TA40-733. Appendix A of CINGSA’s FSS Agreements specifies the individual customer’s contract quantities.
Order No. U-18-102(44)/U-19-020(39)/U-19-021(39), issued May 28, 2020, conditionally approved Chugach’s acquisition of most of the assets of Municipality of Anchorage d/b/a Municipal Light and Power (ML&P) (ML&P Acquisition). With TA40-733, CINGSA proposes amendments to its FSS Agreement with Chugach. The amendments cancel the FSS Agreement between ML&P and CINGSA and amend Appendix A of the FSS Agreement between Chugach and CINGSA (dated October 17, 2011) to combine the ML&P and Chugach’s contracted FSS quantities. In addition, Paragraph 3 of the agreement has been updated to be effective after Chugach has closed the ML&P Acquisition and has received all necessary regulatory approvals.
