REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Sealed Proposals for APK Building: Collected Projects, Program Number RSA0560707C, will be received before 4:00 p.m., October 20, 2020 at the office of the Chief of Contracts, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This state funded project includes the renovation of numerous parts of the Andrew P. Kashevaroff Museum in Juneau, Alaska.  Work includes ADA modifications to Museum Lobby/Main Gallery Doors, window treatment in the Library, transom glazing in the Library, and transfer grille replacement at library/archives.  Two (2) owner desired enhancements that the contractor may choose to include in their proposal and bid price are described in the contract documents and include lighting modifications and davit arm crane installation on the Archives roof.

A non-mandatory work site visit has been scheduled during the advertising period on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 1:00 pm.  Meet in the lobby/atrium of the Andrew P. Kashevaroff Museum at 395 Whittier Street in Juneau, Alaska to be escorted through the work areas.  In an effort to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, bidders shall bring and wear face coverings and maintain social distancing.  All attendees shall present a valid identification for sign-in.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Project Substantial completion date will be April 15, 2021.
