Notice of Adopted Changes to the Regulations of the Board of Dental Examiners

On August 7, 2020, the Board of Dental Examiners adopted regulation changes to Title 12, Chapter 28 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern examinations, registration with the prescription drug monitoring program (PDMP), and the use of an opioid for acute dental pain.

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor (or designee) on September 4, 2020, and will go into effect October 4, 2020. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 236, January 2021 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
