NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO TRANSFER CERTIFICATE
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that on November 8, 2019, Securus Technologies, Inc. (Securus), filed an application to transfer Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (Certificate) Nos. 758 and 461 to Securus Technologies, LLC. Docket No. U-19-098 was opened to address this matter.
Securus is seeking approval to transfer Certificate No. 461, for the provision of intrastate interexchange service, and Certificate No. 758, for the provision of private pay telephone service, to Securus Technologies, LLC. Securus states that this transfer is requested as it is converting to a limited liability company effective December 31, 2019. Securus states that no changes to management will result from the contemplated transaction, and that operative rate, rules, and regulations in its current tariff will remain unchanged.
With its application, Securus filed a motion for expedited consideration, requesting the Commission issue its final order on or before December 31, 2019. The Commission has not assessed the completeness of the application. The Commission may determine whether the application is complete after the close of the public comment period.
