On May 14, 2019, the State Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Board adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 54 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern licensure by examination requirements, board’s utilization of national performance standards and testing, continuing education requirements, telerehabilitation practice, and checklists used for review of applications.
The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on August 30, 2019, and will go into effect on September 29, 2019. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.
The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 231, October 2019 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
