NOTICE OF ADOPTED CHANGES TO THE REGULATIONS OF THE BOARD OF EXAMINERS IN OPTOMETRY

On January 24, 2019, the Board of Examiners in Optometry adopted regulation changes to Title 12, Chapter 48 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern prescription and use of pharmaceutical agents, and use of controlled substances.

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on March 18, 2019, and will go into effect April 17, 2019. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 230, July 2019 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
