On October 4, 2018, the Board of Dental Examiners adopted regulation changes to Title 12, Chapter 28 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern changes regarding general anesthesia and deep sedation permit renewal requirements, and moderate sedation permit initial qualifications and renewal requirements.
The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on November 9, 2018, and will go into effect December 9, 2018. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.
The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 228, January 2019 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
