On May 7, 2018, the Board of Certified Direct-Entry Midwives adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 14 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations concern requirements for apprenticeship program preceptors, certificate renewal requirements, prenatal and infant care requirements, and peer review requirements.
The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on October 26, 2018, and will go into effect on November 25, 2018. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.
The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 228, January 2019 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
