The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to extend Lease ADA-71013 (Lots 2A & 3C, Block 100), consisting of approximately 60,000 square feet, at Barrow Airport for an additional five (5) years, to expire July 1, 2023. Applicant: Frontier Flying Service, Inc. Annual rent: $8,880.00. Authorized uses: aviation – operation of an air taxi and charter service; aircraft maintenance, tie-downs, sales and rentals; flight training, air freight handling and storage, fueling of Lessee aircraft only, and employee and customer vehicle parking.

This is an application filed under AS 02.15.090(c), which allows the Department to grant the proposed lease term extension without competition. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., September 21, 2018, after which the Department will determine whether or not to extend the lease.
