On March 2, 2018, the Board of Pharmacy adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 52 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations update requirements regarding participation, enforcement, and discipline regarding the prescription drug monitoring program (PDMP) controlled substance prescription database under AS 17.30.200, particularly as amended under ch. 2, SSSLA 2017.
The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on May 8, 2018, and will go into effect on June 7, 2018. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.
The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 226, July 2018 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
