Northern Norton Sound Fish & Game Advisory Committee

The Northern Norton Sound Fish & Game Advisory Committee (AC) will hold a meeting and elections on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers in Nome, Alaska.
The purpose of the meeting is to accept nominations and hold elections for one Nome designated AC member and one Undesignated seat as well as elect Officers of the Committee.
The Committee will discuss fish proposals to include Port Clarence and Nome Sub-districts salmon management; pink salmon commercial fishery; and set commercial Coho season to end on Sept. 7 for all six Sub-districts on Norton Sound and a game proposal on musk ox proxy hunting. They will act to request the re-authorization of the current resident tag fee exemptions for brown bear in Unit 22 and to request a waiver for antlerless moose cow hunts.
