On May 5, 2017, the State Medical Board adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 40 of the Alaska Administrative Code. The regulations update requirements regarding abortions.
The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on June 19, 2017, and will go into effect on July 19, 2017. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.
The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 223, October 2017 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
