The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has determined that the permit application, submitted by NRD Inc. for the renewal and expansion of the Kenai Inert Waste Monofill in Nikiski, Alaska, is complete. ADEC is proposing to issue Solid Waste Permit No. SWZA040-21 to NRD Inc.
APPLICANT INFORMATION:
Owner/Operator: NRD, Inc.
Location: Near MP 18 Kenai Spur Highway, within Section 11, Township 6 North, Range 12 West, Seward Meridian, Kenai, Alaska
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The existing facility and expansion will accept construction and demolition materials, exempt wastes, and non-regulated asbestos containing material for disposal.
