On May 2, 2016, the Board of Barbers and Hairdressers adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 09 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with manicuring and the nail technician profession.
The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on May 9, 2016, and will go into effect on June 8, 2016. See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.
The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 218, July 2016 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
