INVITATION TO BID  

Sealed bids for Raspberry Road: Jewel Lake–Minnesota Pavement Preservation and HSIP: Jewel Lake Rd. at Raspberry Rd. East-West Left Turn Lanes, Project Number 0526004/Z567270000 & 0001545/Z587600000, will be received until 2:00 p.m., September 11, 2015 in the main conference room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded contract consists of two projects. The Raspberry Road: Jewel Lake Road to Minnesota Pavement project will resurface Raspberry Road from Jewel Lake Road to Minnesota Drive northbound off-ramp. The project will mill and resurface the travel lanes and provide improvements to pedestrian curb ramps, guardrail, guardrail end treatments, dig-outs, drainage repair, sign replacement, traffic signals, and replacement striping.   The HSIP: Jewel Lake Road at Raspberry Road East-West Left Turn Lanes project will expand the existing single left turn lanes for eastbound and westbound Raspberry Road to dual left turn lanes. Improvements include installing a new traffic signal pole, new traffic signal controller, curb ramps, paving, signing and striping.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Project completion date will be September 15, 2016. The DBE goal for this project is 0%.
