On behalf of the City of Hooper Bay Water and Sewer Project, the Department of Environmental Conservation, Village Safe Water Program has released Invitation to Bid (ITB) #VSW-HPB-2015-26, 2015 Construction Season Barge Services effective Tuesday, June 23, 2015. This ITB solicits competitive sealed bids for the provision of barge freight services to deliver construction materials for the Hooper Bay Water and Sewer Project. Commodities to be transported to Hooper Bay consist of helical piers, arctic pipe and fittings, bare HDPE pipe, metal fabrications, electrical materials, and miscellaneous building materials estimatedat approximately 130 tons of freight leaving out of Seattle, Washington and 3 tons of freight leaving out of Anchorage, Alaska.
This ITB is managed by CE2 Engineers, Inc. under specific contractual authority from the City of Hooper Bay and the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation – Village Safe Water Program. Mr. Paul Kron of CE2 Engineers Inc., is the Procurement Officer with contact information listed below.
Sealed bids will be received until 1:00pm Alaska DST, Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in the office of CE2 Engineers Inc., 8221 Diamond Hook Drive, Anchorage, AK 99507, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the specified date/time will not be considered.
