Description: Amendment Two for this ITB has been released effective on Monday, April 13, 2015.  This Amendment extends the sealed bid deadline period to: 3:00 PM on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.

On behalf of the City of Chefornak, the Department of Environmental Conservation, Village Safe Water (VSW) Program is soliciting competitive sealed bids for the provision and installation of foundation piles. The VSW Consultant (CE2 Engineers, Inc.) will be administering this procurement under the contractual authority of the City of Chefornak and the DEC VSW Program Office as the City’s designated representative.

Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. Alaska DST, Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in the office of CE2 Engineers, Inc., 8221 Dimond Hook Drive, Anchorage, Alaska  99507, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the specified time will not be considered.

Scope of work will include furnishing all labor, tools, materials and supplies, freight, fuel, and equipment necessary to provide and install forty-nine (49) each 6-inch steel pipe foundation micropiles and twelve (12) each 3 inch steel batter piles. The total price shall be quoted FOB Chefornak, Alaska 99561.

Work in Chefornak shall commence on June 1, 2015 and be completed by June 30, 2015. If barge transportation delays beyond the control of the Vendor awarded the Contract are encountered, the Chefornak Water and Sewer Project may grant an extension upon receipt and review of documentation of delay.
