The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has made a preliminary decision to approve Savant Alaska, LLC (Savant)’s application for Air Quality Control Minor Permit AQ0417MSS06 for the Badami Development Facility. Savant is requesting a revision to an existing carbon monoxide Best Available Control Technology limit. The Department intends to add the requirements of AQ0417MSS06 to Operating Permit AQ0417TVP02 by administrative amendment.

Opportunity for Public Participation: Notice is also given that any interested person may present written statements relevant to the draft documents by the close of the public comment period. Written comments will be included in the record if received by close of the comment period. ADEC will consider all comments received and make any changes ADEC finds beneficial or necessary to assure compliance with 18 AAC 50 or State Law. Any person may request a public hearing and that hearing will be held if ADEC finds that good cause exists. ADEC will issue a final decision to issue or deny the permit after the close of the public comment period.
