The Alaska Department of Health & Social Services (DHSS), Division of Juvenile Justice is working to become fully compliant with the federal Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) of 2003 and the PREA Juvenile Facility Standards released in 2012.  PREA compliance requires independent audits of one-third of state-operated facilities every year.  The Division seeks to establish a contract with a PREA certified auditor to conduct audits of all eight facilities before August 20, 2016.

Deadline for receipt of proposals: August 22, 2014 @ 4:00 pm, Alaska Prevailing Time.  Faxed or oral proposals are not acceptable. An offeror’s failure to submit a proposal prior to the deadline will cause the proposal to be disqualified.  Late proposals or amendments will not be opened or accepted for evaluation.
