REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Sealed proposals for ­­Mobile Emergency Vehicle Building - Alcantra Design/Build, Project Number 81224, will be received until 12:00 p.m., September 22, 2014 in the offices of Chief of Contracts at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This State funded contract requires the Design-Build Contractor to provide the necessary design and construction services for construction of a new approximately 50 ft by 80 ft building to house the Mobile Emergency Operations and Command vehicle at the Alcantra Armory site in Wasilla, Alaska.  Work includes the structure with batt insulation and exterior metal panels, foundation, mechanical, electrical, all plumbing rough-in and other related work as described in the contract documents.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.  Substantial completion date will be August 1, 2015.

Your company must register with the Central Region Plans Room by faxing your request to (907) 269-0425 or calling (907) 269-0408 or your proposal may not be accepted.  Your fax must include your company name, contact name, mailing address, phone and fax number, and whether you are registering as a General, Subcontractor, or Supplier.  You may not change or alter the downloaded proposal forms in any way.  Electronic proposals will not be accepted.

Proposal documents may also be viewed at the DOT&PF offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau and obtained for $50.00 from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m., (907) 269-0408.
