The Division of Juvenile Justice is working to become fully compliant with the federal Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) of 2003 and Juvenile Standards released in August, 2012 (28 C.F.R. 115:401-05). PREA compliance requires independent audits of one-third of state-operated juvenile facilities every year. The Division of Juvenile Justice seeks to contract with a U.S Department of Justice PREA certified auditor to conduct audits of two or three of our eight facilities every year beginning in July of 2014.

Deadline for receipt of proposals: April 24, 2014 @ 1:30 pm, Alaska Prevailing Time. Faxed or oral proposals are not acceptable. An offeror’s failure to submit a proposal prior to the deadline will cause the proposal to be disqualified. Late proposals or amendments will not be opened or accepted for evaluation.
