The comment period opens March 20, 2014 (1 day after public notice and reviewers have received their copy) and will extend for 30 days to April 21, 2014 (30 days from day 1, if the date falls on a weekend or holiday the next working day). Requests for additional information must be received by April 14, 2014 (Day 25 from the day one date). The comment period may be extended in accordance with 18 AAC 75.455. Copies of the application and plan are available for public review at the department's office at the above listed address.
The department will hold a public hearing on the plan application if it determines that good cause exists. Residents in the affected area or the governing body of an affected municipality may request a public hearing by writing to the Department of Environmental Conservation at the above address by within 30 days of publication of this notice.
