Lower Kuskokwim Advisory Committee Teleconference

The Lower Kuskokwim Advisory Committee Teleconference will be held March 5th,

This teleconference meeting will be to discuss and comment on proposal for the
Board of Fisheries meeting March 19th- 24th, 2013 at the Hilton Hotel in
Anchorage.

On the LKAC Agenda is the following proposals:

Proposal 216- 5 AAC 39.2XX. Application of fishery management plans. Require
statewide adherence to salmon fishery management plans:


Proposal 217- 5 AAC 39.223. Policy for statewide salmon escapement goals.
Mandate statewide priority for management of king salmon as follows:


Proposal 218- 5AAC 39.222. Policy for the management of sustainable salmon
fisheries; and 5 AAC 39.223. Policy for statewide salmon escapement goals.
Establish a sustained escapement threshold (SET) for stocks listed as yield or
management concern as follows:
