Unalaska Dutch Harbor Advisory Committee Meeting

The Unalaska Dutch Harbor Advisory Committee is planning to meet on September
17th, 2011 at 12PM, Unalaska Public Library Meeting Room, Unalaska, Alaska.

The purpose of this meeting is to have elections to fill vacant seats and
update the current elected officers. They will be giving updates on the Crab
Plan team meeting that will be held in Seattle a week following this meeting.
Updates will include: Brown King Crab assessments model an the crab stocks
under review for the NPGMC Safe Document. They will also be addressing Sport
fish issues westward area and touching on the subject of some enchantment
grants that could help the Unalaska Schools District hatchery program to
enlarge and assist the Red and Coho runs. There will be an update on the
Dungeness crab Sport fish bag limit as well. Under New business, they will
review the agenda change request for the BOF work session in Anchorage on
October 4-5, 2011 and possibly take action on that request. On review they will
be discussing the BOF proposals for the October 6-10, 2011 for the South Alaska
Peninsula, Kodiak, Chignik, PWS and Cook Inlet. The committee will be
addressing and taking action on the current proposals 20-33.
