Icy Straits Advisory Committe Meeting - Gustavus Elections Only

ADF&G Icy Straits Fish and Game Advisory Committee Meetings
The Icy Straits Advisory Committee is a collection of community members from
all user groups that come together and discuss fish and game issues and
recommend changes to current regulations. They also represent their community
before the Board of Fisheries and Board of Game at board meetings as well as
providing input to the federal subsistence boards.

Currently the Alaska Board of Game is soliciting comments on proposed changes
to the regulations in the Southeast region including the Gustavus area.

The Icy Straits AC will also be meeting to develop proposed changes to the
regulations for Southeast region finfish some time before April 10th , 2011

If you are interested in any of the issues you are highly encouraged to attend
this meeting. As always, this meeting is open to the public

The Icy Straits AC has 15 seats, with six seats for Gustavus area residents.
Before the advisory committee meets nominations for AC membership will be taken
by Scott Crass or Mark Ortega If you are interested in serving your community
