Upper Tanana Forty Mile Fish & Game Advisory Committee Meeting And Election

The Upper Tanana Fortymile Advisory Committee will be holding a public meeting
in Tok, AK in the Tok Clinic Conference Room at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January
13th, 2010

Agenda items will include the following items:
• Call to Order
• Establish Quorum
• Approval of agenda
• Introduction of Guests
• Old Business
o Any-
• New Business
o Elections (3 members)
o Approval of minutes from December 1, 2009 meeting
o Review of letter submitted by Anchorage Fish & Game Advisory Committee
o Approval of statement for submission to Boards Division concerning proposed
change to the BOG cycle
o Forestry discussion- Jeff Hermanns
o Review of Statewide proposals- please remember to bring your books
o Comment on Federal Proposals- Please remember to bring the papers I sent you
several weeks ago containing the proposals
o Comment on Holitna-Hoholitna House Bill #227
o Nominate member to attend Statewide meeting (?)
o Set next meeting time


This AC meeting will also hold an election for one Tok Seat, one Undesignated
Seat, and one Alternate Undesignated Seat. If you are from the area and would
like to serve on this committee, or know someone who would, please come to the
meeting. Names will be collected at the meeting. All persons of legal voting
age are eligible to vote and be elected.

Advisory committees are local groups that meet to discuss fishing and wildlife
issues and to provide recommendations to Alaska Board of Fisheries and Alaska
Board of Game. All meetings are open to the public. Advisory Committees are
intended to provide a local forum on fish and wildlife issues. Their purpose
includes: 1) developing regulatory proposals, 2) evaluating regulatory
proposals and making recommendations to the appropriate board, 3) providing a
local forum for fish and wildlife conservation and use, including matters
relating to habitat, 4) advising the appropriate regional council on resources,
and 5) consulting with individuals, organizations, and agencies.
